Knives under 6 inches – £3
Perfect for paring knives, small kitchen blades and everyday cutters. I’ll restore the correct edge angle and get them slicing cleanly again, not just a quick buzz on a wheel.
Knives 6 inches and over – £5
Chef’s knives, bread knives and larger kitchen blades sharpened properly so they glide through food instead of tearing it.
Hunting knives / pen knives – £1.50 per inch
Outdoor and pocket knives sharpened to suit their use, whether that’s general carry, field work or fine cutting.
Tip repair – £3
Snapped or bent tip? I can reshape and rebuild the point so the knife is usable again without losing its strength.
Blade repair (nicks out of blade) – £3
Chips and small dents carefully ground out before sharpening, bringing damaged edges back to smooth, safe cutting.

Bevel edge and semi-convex blades, thinners, chunkers, curved or straight all sharpened to perform like new. Micro-serration added unless you’d prefer a plain edge.
Dressmaking scissors / pinking shears – £10
Fabric scissors restored to a clean, crisp cut so material slices instead of snagging or chewing.
General purpose scissors – £5
Everyday household scissors sharpened properly, not just “made a bit better.”
Scissor repairs (new finger/thumb insets) – £2
Worn or missing insets replaced to improve comfort, grip and control while you work.
